Mixing equal parts Blues and Soul with a dash of retro style, The MacKenzie Blues Band has quickly proved to be a force to be reckoned with on Festival stages, Clubs and Barrooms. Their debut release “Back Road Revelation” had garnered considerable airplay and positive reviews across Canada, Europe and USA. The MacKenzie Blues Band has twice made the semi final rounds at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN and they hold an acclaimed Maple Blues Award for best new artist (2014) 

They have played countless festivals accords Ontario and even had the opportunity to open for the incredible Buddy Guy. 

Their third album is currently in production and we will get a preview of some of the songs today here at Music at The Market! 

The MacKenzie Blues Band’s live performances encourage audiences to let loose, have fun and enjoy wild electric rockin blues and takes them to a place where honesty and positivity are on the menu to share a common love for blues music.
